Every nonprofit CRM has an export. Here's where to find it in each major platform.

Pick your CRM:

Bloomerang

  1. Log in to Bloomerang.
  2. Click Settings (gear icon) → OrganizationDatabase Export.
  3. Click Create New Export. Bloomerang queues a full ZIP of every constituent and gift CSV.
  4. When the export finishes, click Download Export. You get a ZIP file.

You need an Administrator role to access Settings → Organization. If you don't see it, ask your CRM admin to run the export.

Salesforce NPSP

  1. Log in to Salesforce.
  2. Click Reports in the left nav.
  3. Run your donations report (commonly named All Donations).
  4. Top right: Export DetailsCSV.

If your report doesn't include household groupings, run a separate Households export.

DonorPerfect

  1. Log in to DonorPerfect.
  2. Click ReportsDataExport.
  3. Run the Full Data Export. DonorPerfect generates a ZIP of every donor table.
  4. Download the ZIP.

If you only need a single report instead of the full database, use ReportsMail Maker or Gift Detail ReportExport to Excel.

Raiser's Edge NXT

  1. Log in to Raiser's Edge NXT.
  2. Click Lists, build a Constituent List, then click Export. Save the file.
  3. Click Lists, build a Gift List, then click Export. Save the second file.

If you're on the older Blackbaud Constituent CRM, the menu paths differ. The flow is similar: build the query, run it, export.

eTapestry

  1. Log in to eTapestry.
  2. Click Queries and run (or build) the query that returns the constituents you want.
  3. From the query, click Export and pick a standard or custom export template.
  4. For Output, choose Excel or CSV, and for Delivery, pick Download, Email, or Drop Box.
  5. Save the file when it lands.

If you choose Download and navigate away before the file finishes, you will not receive the file. Use Email for large exports.

Neon CRM

  1. Log in to Neon.
  2. Click ReportsCustom Report.
  3. In the report builder, include at least these fields: name, email, address, Account Type, gift amounts, gift dates.
  4. Run the report, then click Export to Excel. Neon may also offer email or Dropbox delivery.

Account Type matters. It tells you whether each record is an individual or an organization.

Little Green Light

  1. Log in to Little Green Light.
  2. Click ReportsGift/Pledge ReportsFull Export (CSV).
  3. Save the CSV.

For more flexibility, build a Custom Report under Reports → Custom Reports with the fields you need.

Kindful

  1. Log in to Kindful (now part of Bloomerang).
  2. Click Contacts (or Transactions) and apply filters in the right side panel.
  3. Click Create Report in the side panel and add the columns you need.
  4. In the top-right of the report, click Convert to CSV and download.

Givebutter

  6. Download both files.

The Contacts file alone has no giving history. You need both files for a complete picture.

Classy / GoFundMe Pro

  1. Log in to Classy (now branded GoFundMe Pro).
  2. Click TransactionsTransaction History to load the full transactions report.
  3. Adjust the column set or filters as needed.

For supporters, run SupportersExport to grab the contact list separately.

Donorbox

  1. Log in to Donorbox.
  2. In the left sidebar, click Supporters, apply any filters you need, then click Export. Choose all columns or a custom subset.
  3. Click Donations in the sidebar, apply filters (Campaign, Date, Payment Method), then click Export.
  4. Save both CSVs.

Network for Good

  2. Click Contacts in the top nav, build a filter, and click Select All.

  4. For donations, repeat from the Giving tab. The Donation Summary report under Reports also exports cleanly.

  2. Open ReportingWeb Reports (use the Transaction Web Report for the full transaction list).
  3. Add, remove, or rearrange columns to match the fields you need.

For the donor list, run the Donor Summary report and export it the same way.

EveryAction

  1. Log in to EveryAction.
  2. Click Contacts and build (or open) a search/saved list of the contacts you want.
  3. From the list results, click Export and choose the Standard Text format.

For contributions only, build the export from ReportingContributions instead, then export the result.

NationBuilder

  1. Log in to NationBuilder.
  2. Click FinancesMoreExports.
  3. Click Export all financial transactions (or filter first under Finances, then click ActionsExport to limit the file).
  4. Download the CSV when it's ready.
  5. Separately, run a People export from PeopleFilterActionsExport for contact records.

You need both the Export and Finances permission sets enabled to pull financial data. If you don't have them, ask your control panel admin.

Action Network

  1. Log in to Action Network.
  2. Click Reports in the top nav, then either generate a fresh report or open an existing one.
  3. In the report sidebar, click Download Results as CSV.

To include lifetime giving, set the report to pull latest donation amount, latest donation date, and lifetime value before downloading.

  3. Click Export. In the field-group selector, check Statistics (this includes giving history).

  2. Click ContactsHouseholds.
  3. In the top-right, click the dropdown arrow and select Export Households. An Excel file downloads to your computer.
  4. For individual contacts, go to ContactsIndividuals, click the dropdown arrow, and choose Export Contacts.

For contributions, run a contribution report from Fund AccountingReportsContributions and export to Excel.

Tithely

  1. Log in to Tithely.
  2. Click GivingTransactions.
  3. Click + Filter and at minimum apply a Date Range (the export requires it). Add Funds, Location, or Payment Type filters as needed.
  4. Click the Columns (grid icon) button to choose which fields appear, then click Export in the top-right. A CSV downloads.

The CSV mirrors what's visible on screen, so set your columns and filters first.

Planning Center Giving

  1. Log in to Planning Center Giving.
  2. Click the Donations tab (or By donation view from the Dashboard).
  3. Apply any filters (date range, fund, donor type).

Wild Apricot

  1. Log in to Wild Apricot.
  2. Click Contacts in the left nav.
  3. Apply any filters (membership level, status, contact group).
  4. Click Export at the top of the contact list, choose CSV as the format, and pick which fields to include.

For donations, go to FinancesDonations and run the donations export from there. Wild Apricot's donations export does not support a date-range filter, so the file always covers all time.

  2. Open Transactions, click the table actions menu (3 dots), and select Export CSV. Choose your columns and click Export.
  3. Open Supporters, click the 3 dots menu, and select Export CSV for the contact list.

My CRM is not listed

Email your CRM admin or your platform's support team and ask:

"Please export our full constituent list with giving history."

Most CRMs tuck the export under Reports, Lists, or Settings. If you can produce a CSV or Excel file with names, contact info, and giving history, you have what you need.
